Deltawings was a Radio Patapoe weekly show hosted by Dlt9. Every week a selection of sounds ranging from electronic landscapes like house, tecnho and breakbeats to 60's R&B, psychedelic rock, funk, hip hop and stuff like jazz and blues.
From late 2005 until 2007 the show evolved into a two hour non-stop sonic journey, broadcasting live stream to the internet and FM 88.2 for the Amsterdam area. With featurings and colaborations from other dj's and musicians the gatherings that took place in the studio quickly established Deltawings as not to miss! For audience feedback, tracklistings and all info on the show the Deltawings radio blog was created. Scroll trough the blog archives to read about past shows.

Deltawings stopped broadcasting from Radio Patapoe on April 2, 2007. Eventually a few shows were transmitted through Grooveline web radio but that ceased too.
But the good news is that many recorded shows are uploaded for archive and available to stream and download. The mp3 encoding is 320kbps which makes it rather large but much more enjoyable too. (click once to stream or right click and save as to download)

"At 1830 GMT on Tuesday 21 February 2006, Colin Dixon, the manager of the Securitas cash depot in Kent, United Kingdom, is abducted on the A249 near Stockbury after being stopped by two gang members posing as police officers. At around the same time his wife and son are abducted from their home in Herne Bay by other gang members, also posing as police.

After being held at a farm building somewhere in west Kent, all three are taken to the Tonbridge depot where the gang gain access and tie up the family plus 14 members of staff.
They load large amounts of new and used banknotes into a 7.5 tonne white Renault lorry and drive away."

The Securitas depot robbery was a robbery which took place in the early hours of 22 February 2006, between 01:00 and 02:15 UTC in England, an operation that succeeded in stealing the largest cash amount in British crime history.
